The Last Domus Hallowe'en (for me)

A number of people in my year have started to commemorate each of the "lasts" for this year. The first time I really felt that way was after I was walking home after Hallowe'en. The law school's student pub society Domus Legis has a students night at the local pub everyweek. However, Halloween is their big event of the year. It always ends up being a good night. The costumes are first class, everybody is friendly, there's usually some good music, and it's always a good time.

This year was no exception. Becuase it was on a Friday, there was a greater variety of people at the bar, but it was still a good time. It even worked out that I ran into a friend of mine whom I used to fly with up North - he was on a layover in Halifax for the evening. Quite a fluke.

There will be other Halloweens. I'll be able to dress up and I'm sure I will be going to other fun parties, but I will miss not being a law student and being able to go to Domus for Halloween.

Plus, I worked really hard on my costume this year. It was good as I got rewarded by having a number of people asking to take their picture with me. I was Inspector Gadget:

The light on the hat actually rotated which was quite a sight in a dark bar. Ah good times, good times.
