What happens if you don't take exams? Say you just walk away and spend the next week and a half driving to baseball stadiums. Then you show up for work as planned. Hypothetically.

I remember reading a story in Time or Newsweek about some high school kid who flipped out junior year, stole a car and ditched his exams. He drove around America for a while and kept his parents informed of his whereabouts through postcards. His school coaxed him back eventually and let him take his exams. He wrote about the experience when he applied to colleges and got into Harvard.

Just saying. Worked out for him.
