: TJ's Double PlayHypothetically
I remember reading a story in Time or Newsweek about some high school kid who flipped out junior year, stole a car and ditched his exams. He drove around America for a while and kept his parents informed of his whereabouts through postcards. His school coaxed him back eventually and let him take his exams. He wrote about the experience when he applied to colleges and got into Harvard.
Just saying. Worked out for him.

Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance...
Or something like that.Let me just say that if, lets say, hypothetically you opened a neat boutique-y dog kennel, then hypothetically you would avoid:a- opening one two blocks from another kennel of the exact same concept ORb- having basically the exact same name as the aforementioned kennel of the exact same concept And, lets say, if you hypothetically opened said dog kennel and did not avoid a OR b, then I would say that you should have a really really big sign telling customers at the front door that you are not the kennel of the exact same concept and almost the exact same name located a mere two blocks away...

Congratulations!
BISMOW started his new job today. For a variety of boring reasons (i.e. financial and the like) this is a very good thing. He is a lawyer and with the dismal market out there, the fact that he was able to make not only a change but an "upward" one at that is pretty awesome...
KingCast probes a potential conflict of interest in North Country with State Rep/Police Chief John Tholl, HB 1428 and new police abuse.
Let's assume arguendo that there was another case of police abuse in the North Country. Let's further assume that you, as a victim of police abuse have no criminal past with the law; let's assume you're a well-established 40-something professional known by most police to be of sound, mind body and spirit, kind of like Ms...
