Coffee Shops

Exam season is here and with exam season all of the maniacs seem to come out of the woodwork to inhabit the law school for a 2 week period each December and May. I wish someone would have told me to get the hell out of the law building last year when I was a scared little 1L (or I wish I was smart enough to get out on my own). Thankfully in my 2L wisdom it has occured to me that the best place to hunker down for this semster's round of hell is going to be local coffee shops. Free wi-fi, headphones, and a cup of joe in a place that isn't insane is just what I need to actually focus on my outlines instead of on the "oh shit I don't know this stuff" voice in the back of my little head.

If you're a 1L and reading this from your law school library GET OUT NOW. Run away as fast as you possibly can. There is absolutely NO reason that you need to be in the law building right now with your stressed out classmates. If you have study sessions suggest a place off campus, and if you are outlining by yourself then do yourself a favor and remove yourself from the madness. And while you're at it, treat yourself to a cup of coffee and a cookie :)

When happy hour starts at the wine bar down the street at 4pm I may have to move down there.......

I wonder if wine will be conducive to finishing my evidence outline?
