It’s a little late in being posted, but I think you deserve to hear about the Biden-Palin debate:
GWEN IFILL: (suddenly turning to camera) Oh hi! Didn’t see you come in! I’m Gwen Ifill, and welcome to “A Heartbeat Away,” better known as “What Will Stupid Sarah Say?” Originally, I was to moderate the first presidential debate between Barack Obama and John McCain. But it was felt that having two black people surrounding Sen.McCain would not only make him nervous, it might frighten many white viewers and hurt ratings. So they stuck me here. The big VP debate. Some reward. Well, no use in dwelling on it, so let’s get this thing over with. Senator, Governor — that’s your cue.
PALIN: Hi Joe. May I call you Jo-Jo? I once had a gerbil named Jo-Jo. He got caught in the garbage disposal.
BIDEN: Call me anything you like, you sassy thing. Nice flag pin!
PALIN: Ooh! Thanks! It’s a flag of our country. Y’know, Alaska’s in our country.
BIDEN: So I’ve heard.
IFILL: Let us begin. Before the broadcast, Sen. Biden correctly guessed my favorite color –
PALIN: I thought it was black!
IFILL: Yes, I know Governor. But it was Sen. Biden who guessed correctly.
BIDEN: Aqua brings out your inner-Tyra, Gwen.
