Von einer vielzitierten Mäßigung der aktuellen Summer-Associates-Generation ist zumindest bei solchen Sprüchen kaum etwas zu spüren. Wer partout mehr als 55 Dollar beim Lunch verbraten will (bzw. verbraten lassen will), könnte ja souverän den Rest als Eigenanteil drauflegen. Bei Wochengehältern um 3000-Dollar dürfte ein solcher "Lunch-Notfonds" sicher einzurichten sein. Die groß angelegte Umfrage des American Lawyer hält aber auch positive Entwicklungen bereit. Wir sind - wieder einmal - gespannt auf den nächsten Sommer, "the first summer after".
