Mit einem Computerprogramm, das zwei musikbegeisterte Informatikerinnen der University of Southern California jetzt vorgestellt haben, könnte sich das aber ändern.
“Assa” - das steht für Automatic Style Specific Accompaniment - kann nach Angaben der Forscherinnen aus Melodien von Popsongs mit hoher Genauigkeit Begleitakkorde erzeugen, die auch stilistisch zum Genre passen. Auch Nicht-Experten bekämen dann eine passende Begleitung für eine Melodie, die sie erfunden haben. (…)
