A Peek Behind the Scenes in the Patent Academy

A student at the Patent Academy has started a blog.

'Relativity' writes a nearly daily entry about his/her experiences at the Academy, about the classes, the quizzes, and yes, even the team building exercises.

It is fascinating to get the reactions of one who is being taught patent law and the examination process and procedures from scratch. Brings back some memories, to tell the truth.

What it also does is gives me something productive to tell people when they ask me about the hiring process and the academy, which seems to happen on a regular basis. Since all of this stuff has completely changed since I went through the process myself, I have no first-hand knowledge of the current processes, and thus haven't had much useful to say on the subject.

Until now.

Now, I can refer them to Patently Academic.
