The State Of PDIBLOG.com

Posted on January 09, 2009
Okay, some of you might see that there have been a few changes here at Tales of a Public Defender Investigator. Mostly, its been cosmetic with an upgrade to the new layouts offered by Blogger which offer some better archiving of old posts (and ways to pull them back up), easier reading, and mostly the ability to add other little tweaks that I may or may not take advantage of...

Another regurgitated headline of an employee from a Public Defender's Office in New Orleans being accused of providing a cellular telephone to a client awaiting trial for murder. Yikes!

Posted on September 23, 2008
Yikes!I don't know if my paranoia comes from a very good place, but I just want to say that having 20+ hits a day from multiple United States Department Of Justice IP's makes me just a wee bit nervous. Sure, these readers seem to be sticking mostly to my Myspace/Social Networking Investigations related posts but still...

Those Devilish Hispanics

Posted on September 23, 2008
A very good friend of mine emailed me a link to a letter to the editor that was recently sent to a local newspaper. I should explain that my friend is an attorney at a Public Defender's Office, also located in California. Originally she sent me this letter because she was curious to know how I felt about it...

Question From A Juror - Follow-Up

Posted on August 18, 2008
Okay, so thank you to the two anonymous yahoo's who helped in my weak and convoluted explanation of Jury Investigations with comments like, What he said and That's what I would have said. Very Funny. I received a response from our California Juror who emailed me this email last week...

Talking White With Nader: A Nader Rant

Posted on June 25, 2008
Dear Ralph Nader:Thanks for the seat belt laws and other consumer protections you helped move along many years ago but something needs to be said:You are no longer relevant. Please go away. You have managed to show how out of touch you are with the regular American voter by saying things like:Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader accused Sen...

Damn You Myspace

Posted on June 20, 2008
Myspace has messed with a good thing. If any fellow investigators have been on the site lately, you'll notice that its been enhanced and updated. From what I can tell so far is not a good change for those of us that utilize several Myspace investigative techniques that I've mentioned here on my blog in the past...

Help In Massachusetts Anyone?

Posted on June 05, 2008
I don't normally do this but since I don't really think I have any contacts in Massachusetts, I thought I could ask for some help from a Public Defender office in Massachusetts who can help me run a witnesses name for criminal records in Bristol and Plymouth County or statewide if at all possible...
