A Round Tuit (40)

Posted on August 04, 2010
When it comes to legal blogging, there seems to be no shortage of writing worth reading once one gets around to it.What's that? You have no round tuit? My friend, you are fortunate indeed, for never before in human history have round tuits been so readily available...

Trust me, he has a face you can trust.

The Blawg Review Editor is famously (or infamously, depending on your perspective) anonymous. He frequents meet-ups and conventions and hob-nobs with the great and good of the blawgosphere (and me as well) and is frequently pictured in photographic records of those events...

Is absentmindedness considered a disability?

Posted on July 28, 2010
I look forward to reading Blawg Review each Monday and, generally, I'm quick to mention each week's issue here. Sometimes I'm a little busy and I don't get to that mention until Tuesday. That it's Wednesday and I'm only just now getting around to recommending Vincent LoTempio's fine Blawg Review #274 is a particular shame...

Blawg Review gets 95years. 43years with good behavior.

Posted on July 20, 2010
This week, Richard Allen and Joe Pirrotta host Blawg Review #273 at their 95years blog. If you're deterred by the name of the blog, don't worry -- it probably won't take you 95 years to get through their post; I read it only a day-and-a-half, thanks to those wonderful Hooked on Phonics and Your Baby Can Read tapes my wife gave me for Christmas...

If Blawg Review's not already your religion, may we suggest an alternate choice?

Posted on July 06, 2010
As far as organized religions go, the Church of the SubGenius has a lot to recommend it, not the least of which is Kevin Underhill's Blawg Review #271, hosted this week at his Lowering the Bar blog. Underhill describes the SubGenius "faith" as "sort of like Scientology but with more humor, less fraud, and an almost total lack of belief in itself...

"Wow, Fred's really put on weight since Blawg Review #70, but Babs hasn't changed a bit since Blawg Review #23!"

Posted on June 29, 2010
Dave Gulbransen is pushing forty years old and is feeling nostalgic on the occasion of his fifth Blawg Review — Blawg Review #270. He presents — in epilepsy-inducing Netscape/GeoCities brilliance, no less — a "where are they now" survey of legal blogs and bloggers linked in his previous four Blawg Reviews...

Until the vuvuzela came along, I'd always regretted losing my hearing.

Posted on June 21, 2010
Andrew Raff hosts this week's Blawg Review #269 at his IPTAblog site. The occasion is World Music Day and no discussion of world music during the World Cup would be complete without some mention of the ubiquitous vuvuzela horns heard during matches (not to mention the nightmares of soccer fans everywhere)...

Let's run Blawg Review up the flag pole to see who salutes it.

When David Harlow hosts Blawg Review at his HealthBlawg site, you can count on it being another great example of the carnival done right. This week's Blawg Review #268 certainly doesn't disappoint. As today is Flag Day here in the United States, Harlow focuses on a patriotic theme — the words and wisdom of founding father and second president John Adams...

Now that my "Scott Greenfield Day" fasting is finished, I can feast on Blawg Review.

Posted on June 08, 2010
Mark Bennett has a great round-up of yesterday's blawgospheric celebration of "Scott Greenfield Day". I commemorated this year's inaugural Scott Greenfield Day in a most appropriate way, I think... by working long but productive hours at my full-time job...
