Outlaw released, another takes his place.

Readers of the OUT-LAW website will have seen news this week that the editor of said site, Struan Robertson, is leaving an moving on to others things at ‘do no evil’ Google. If you are interested at all in IT law you will know what a fantastic resource this site is (as run by Pinsent Masons ? he says begrudgingly praising other law firms).

But, I would like to wish Struan well, and welcome and wish the best of luck to his replacement Matthew Magee, who according to Struan himself has been doing all the hard work anyway! (lol) I’m sure in his capable hands the quality of the site’s output will continue.

Better still, it seems Pinsents are set to put the site at the centre of ‘ an online strategy that we’ve developed and refined over the course of several months.’ To wit, they are seeking a journalist and a technology lawyer to join the OUT-LAW team. If I was a tech journo I would be kicking down their door.
