Dem Arizona Congresswoman Giffords Shot; NPR, CNN Report Giffords, 6 Others, Dead

Breaking - U.S. Representative Gabrielle Giffords, a Democrat from Arizona, was shot during a public forum in Arizona on Saturday. At least five other people were also shot.

The Tucson Citizen is reporting that Giffords was shot at "point blank range in the head."

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and six others died after a gunman opened fire at a public event on Saturday, the Pima County, Ariz., sheriff's office confirms.
