: Wicked WordsBack to Unemployment
Honestly, I believe they lured me in with the promises of benefits and raises and decent hours, and really didn't treat me with any sort of permanence. Nobody really tried to "get to know" me, unlike in other jobs, where people would stop by and chat and invite me to lunch (I guess we really couldn't go to lunch with only that half hour, though!). I think the office staff knew what was going to happen, and I'm glad I was the one to end the employment first. I didn't need to put up with the long hours in a freezing office without breaks and with constant badgering.
Thankfully, instead of feeling depressed, I feel free. I WILL find work doing something that I love to do. Hopefully it happens sooner than later.
