We're All Guardian Angels

Is it my imagination, or are television's legal support staffers getting cuter by the minute?

There was Katie, the paralegal with the really great hair on ABC's now defunct series, The Deep End, and then Jasper, the outrageously good-looking paralegal matchmaker in the Lifetime movie, Double Wedding. And who could be more adorable than Betty White as Alan Shore's legal secretary on Boston Legal?

But somehow I missed Fred, the guardian-angel-turned-legal-assistant, on the Lifetime series, Drop Dead Diva. (The photo is of Ben Feldman playing Fred. You are so welcome.)

I can't believe you guys let me miss him. (I might have to start actually watching television.)

Does Lifetime have a thing for legal support staffers?

You know, I like to think of all of us as lawyers' guardian angels.
