This was an exhausting and long day, spent at a local heart hospital where the love of my life is undergoing surgery. I arrived home tonight, and thought, in passing, I'd see if I had an ounce of energy left to deal with a blog post. I opened up my blog reader, and this is one of the first posts I read.

If you've read this blog for awhile, you know that I was one of Tanta's many fans, and was one of her e-mail correspondents, as well. In her last e-mail to me, sent after her last round of chemo, she was her usual graceful self.

I've noticed that the econ/law/finance blogosphere is really a pretty warm place.  It helps, truly it do.

I hope it did, Tanta. I hope, somewhere, you're flying.
