A Florida surgical center should not have used general anesthesia during an outpatient procedure that led to the death of an 18-year-old woman, a lawsuit filed by family members claims. Stephanie Kuleba died last year after suffering a severe reaction to anesthesia known as malignant hyperthermia. The lawsuit seeks unspecified damages from Dr. Steven Schuster and other doctors at the clinic.
