Prepaid Legal Services - Notes from Oklahoma International Convention 2010 (5)

By Michael H. Cohen, Esq.

Stop whining and start engaging in activity--start planning tomorrow before tomorrow begins.

Leadership training from David Byrd

Leadership means seeing people where they are, instead of where you want them to be – and helping them get to the next level.

David specializes in next level growth—helping people get to the next level. It's challenging because it takes stepping out of your comfort zone.  You do that with a system built on your dreams and goals.

It all starts with vision.  People perish without vision.  Vision requires a feeling about the future.

Achievement happens Monday morning.  It's daily choices and actions that you make that are the key, the foundation.  Plan tomorrow before tomorrow begins.  Plan next month before next month begins.  Your hardest work day should be the first day of the month.

The keys are: planning, and accountability.

More training in Prepaid Legal—7 deadly sins:

...         Indifference: not caring.  If you don't care, you'll live someone else's life. Decide to care.

...         Indecision: this is the biggest thief of happiness.  Commit. Decide to decide.

...         Doubt: the worst plague is self-doubt.  Have confidence.

...         Worry: become a warrior, not a worrier.  Fight the good fight.  The solution to worry is activity.  Activity creates growth, creates income and your worries go.

...         Over-caution: timidity delays growth.

...         Pessimism: looking at the dark side.  Look at the bright side.

...         Complaining: whining, griping wastes your life.  Imperfection cannot judge imperfection.  Find constructive solutions.

Prepaid Legal gives members access to professional legal counsel not only for traditional legal problems, but for everyday events such as buying a house or a car, creating a will, handling a problem with an insurance company, dealing with identity theft, and much more where legal review should be routine, but rarely is. These events can be among the most important events in a person's life, yet there is a tendency for them to take place without proper legal review. For Pre-Paid Legal members, access to legal counsel is only a toll-free phone call away.
