A new website I stumbled upon today from Spokane WA: Public Defender Revolution, added to the sidebar. The author's comment's, and take them to heart: I fell in love with public defense when I stumbled into a defender office about 15 years ago. I still love the job, but know that it can eat you up. I was tempted to flee the profession (why does everyone I know have a fantasy about being a barrista or UPS delivery person?), but I've noticed some of the new lawyers going through the same bullshit I have endured, and I thought, I have to try to make a difference. And I love a good revolution.
