Death Penalty Resolutions for Texas Democratic Party Precinct Conventions

The Texas Democratic Party will hold precinct conventions on March 2 at 7:15 PM. They are open to anyone who votes in the 2010 Texas Democratic primary. At the conventions you can take resolutions that will be voted on at the precinct conventions, and if they are also approved at the county or senatorial district conventions on March 20, they will go to the state convention for consideration. We got the party to pass a moratorium resolution in 2004 and to put it in the party platform every year since then, but Bill White opposes a moratorium, so he might try to get the Platform Committee to take it out of the platform this year.
