Panduit, a world-class manufacturer of innovative products for the wiring and network connectivity industry, has an immediate need for a registered patent attorney with an electrical background at its Corporate Headquarters in Tinley Park, Illinois due to its continued growth.

Headquartered in the Chicago Suburb of Tinley Park, Panduit has multiple U.S. locations as well as manufacturing plants and sales subsidiaries worldwide.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include all facets of intellectual property protection with initial emphasis on new product approval and patent prosecution.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and JD is required

• Must be a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (PTO)

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications is required

• Position requires eventual admission to the Illinois Bar Association

• Must have a strong academic background with excellent interpersonal and writing skills.

• Law firm and trademark experience is a plus
