No criminal charges against Del Vecchio

The Associated Press reports that the Clark County District Attorney's Office is not considering criminal charges against Family Court Judge Del Vecchio based upon the allegations contained in a complaint against him by the Nevada Judicial Discipline Commission. The AP reports that the DA has concluded that criminal charges would be barred by the statute of limitations and notes that the woman who is the alleged victim of the alleged attacks is now 28 years old. The complaint is not yet available on the Discipline Commission's website. Del Vecchio's response is due in 3 weeks. He denies the allegations and asserts that the Clark County Office of Diversity investigated many of the same allegations and cleared him of all charges.
