Sunset for Some

Today, my family and numerous friends got word that someone we all knew well committed suicide this morning. He was a cool guy. Tapping 50 yrs old and had the world by its tail, successful in construction, and loved by all.

Last fall the rug got pulled on him.

Went on a Men's Weekend Retreat to come home and find his wife of 27 yrs left him, bro-in-law he partnered with in construction kept the business and left him nothing, and life began to unravel unbeknownst to those around him save for his tight-knit group of buddies. Today, we learned of the enormity of the unraveling.

I've spent the better part of the day on the net trying to put reason to this. I can't. We, those who knew him, are numb. I'm angry. Really angry at the entire balliwick.

Makes no sense.
