Dicta from my world...

Workouts

  • Ramping up my workouts and getting back into the swing of them has been incredible for me. I'm so loving the hardcore sweat, exhaustion, sore muscles and the intoxicating flush of endorphins after a workout. I've bounced from 12 miles a workout to 14 miles in the same time frame on my recumbent bike and quite pleased with the efforts. Jeans are looser, muscles are tighter, and I feel so much better mentally. My "A" game is definitely back to stay. Once a jock, always a jock. Competitive to the core, even with myself. Don't let appearances fool you. Those that know me in person are just nodding their heads knowingly and chuckling quietly at the individual who makes the mistake of underestimating me.
  • Yes, I'm sore from my workout last night. Painfully so. Good for me. God bless ibuprofen.
Rolling Marbles
  • Happy I dressed somewhat warm today (read: did not wear a springy cotton skirt) and am not freezing my chi-chi's off at work. Still need to grab blazer from car. Why? Something to do and its chilly in here.
  • 190 pages of old mid-terms for Crim Law. Really? Sh**. Lot's 'o material and good ammo for exam time. But 190 pages? Sh**. Glad I'm printing stuff at the Xereox Subsidy (aka...work). My copier company friends are smiling and laughing now.
  • My law peeps headed into finals across the country...kick ass. You. Will. Own. These. Exams.
Back to the salt mine...
