Bitter Lawyer's rack story makes Rush's stack of stuff

By Jonathan Hayter

ADVERTISEMENTS

Bitter Lawyer posted a story last week about the effects, for good and ill, of breast implants on a woman's career in the law.  (And lest you think LALP is shoehorning on a slow news day, there are a couple SoCal connections in the entry: Professor Laura Triplett of CSU Fullerton weighs in on the issue, and an unnamed staffer at an unnamed Los Angeles firm recounts the story of one female lawyer who "went too big." So it's not a shoehorn without context.)  The story went on to shake one particular dragon in his den, in the shape of Rush Limbaugh.  According to Mark Thidium at BL, El Rushbo commented at length on the article and, "in process [said that] in accordance with Undeniable Truth of Life Number 24--'feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society'--wide distribution of 'The Real Story On Fake Boobs' would 'set feminism back 50 years.'"

BL goes on to consider the ever-pertinent question of silicone vs. suffragette.  Follow the bra-haha here.
