: Bernard MadoffRSVP to Mark: Accounting Matters.

Mark-
You can circle the wagons all you want, but in case you haven't heard, some of us are getting squeezed like lemons. And, if its one thing an accountant doesn't like, its getting squeezed. We have enough of that during tax season.
If your Dad left you Konigsberg's cell phone #, you might want to get hold of him and ask him to join you and the family at Thursday's meeting.
Andy Lankler is going to be the go between going forward. His track record is much better than some of the high-priced lawyers that some of you have hired.
My credibility and my track record speaks for itself When I tell you that I'm not going down for anything, that's something you can count on. I'm an accountant, so I know how to count, especially when it comes to keeping score.
BTW- I overheard the feds that I 'encountered' this morning mention something about DiPascali. I don't remember whether he knew how to keep score properly.
Something for everyone to think about.
David F.
PS. I don't know whether you can deduct your meeting on Thursday as a business expense. My advice is that you each pay cash for the $79.95 per person fee that Harvard Club is charging you. This meeting is one that you might not want to show receipts for.
