: Legally Blonde AmbitionAll In A Days Unemployment
By "Daisy Duke"
ADVERTISEMENTS
The phone rings. Daisy: Hello? This is Daisy.
Career Services: This is career services from you law school. We are calling to take the employment survey for the class of 2008. Do you have a moment?
Daisy: Well how long will it take? I'm packing and running out the door to catch a flight.
Career Services: Only a few minutes.
Daisy: Ok then.
Career Services (sounding chipper): Are you currently employed?
Daisy: No.
Career Services (sounding not so chipper): Oh. Are you seeking employment? Are you aware as an alumni (hey idiots as a female I'm an alumnae, just saying) you can make an appointment to speak with someone.
Daisy: (Thinking to myself: Self, I know this. I also know our career services department doesn't have any employers giving job listings to them because they suck. Hard core suckage.) Well thank you.
Career Services (sounding despondent & awkward): Ok well I suppose the rest of my questions are irrelevant. Erm. Yeah. Good luck?
Daisy: Whatever.
Thank you career services for making me feel like worthless pile of unemployed dog poo.
In other news, BISMOW & I are catching an afternoon flight to my parents house for a weekend with the family. Woo!
And Ismael? All is forgiven. No hard feelings. Just another joke lost the inter-webs that has no facial expressions to help us all out. (Damn you inter-web & your lack of facial expression!)
I'm still waiting for the first 8 comments on my last post from people who are not linked on my blog roll so I can re-gift that award out. Ismael, you count!
