Welcome to live blogging - Version 1.0 - Texas v. R.B.

I am going to try this and see just how it works. I begin a simple DWI trial today in Tarrant County. My goal is to live-blog it as it happens. The goal is to blog before and after jury selection on Thursday and during the trial on Friday. It's a run of the mill DWI, but it's something different, and by God, why the hell not? Today will be jury selection. It is in County Criminal Court 7 of Tarrant County. The prosecutors, being in misdemeanor court, will have less experience than those I usually go against. Just a little opposition research go quite a ways, though. The judge in the case used to hate me. Now, she loves me. Whether it was the fact that she learned that I was in Inn of Court, as she is, or the fact that I resolved a thorn-in-the-side case in her court, I will never know...continue to full post
