I think it's time to consider whether the United States or the global community may have to take the possibility of a two-state solution off the table for some time.

This is just too awful to be rewarded.

At the very least, it may be possible to entrench statehood in the West Bank, which these days is like a picnic compared to Gaza, while putting Gaza's status on hold indefinitely.
