ADVERTISEMENTS
Here are some observations from Canada:
  1. The young people are so bored and behind here that they are taking to piercings, bad ones. The most popular seems to be the lip stud.
  2. There are an inordinately large number of Australians here (No, we're from New Zealand, the accent is completely different. In Australia they say "get the car," we say "get the car.").
  3. Yes, they do say "eh," and yes, it's pretty lame.
  4. Best line by a Canadian: "we're Canadian, we're too dumb to be anything but nice."
  5. I played golf with an NHL player, and yes, I hit the ball further than him. He may be 6'5 220lbs, but that's not gonna get it done.
  6. Hitting the golf ball at this altitude is like being on steroids, but without the bad side effects. Gotta love hitting a driver than a 6 iron to a par 5.
  7. According to the last hotel, wireless internet is hard to come by in the mountains, yet it's available in the restaurant for $6 an hour. Nice.
