11 Days of Agony

ADVERTISEMENTS
With 11 days until the shit goes down, here are 11 things that have been going on with me:

1. I was briefly employed on a contract basis doing patent litigation of all things. The case settled, and again, I am unemployed.

2. I've been juggling 3 different fantasy sports, and trying to keep up with the Warriors, Cal football, NFL football and Liverpool. Oh yeah, college basketball starts soon. I think I have a sports problem.

3. I went on my first date in almost 6 months, it was, unfortunately, a snooze fest.

4. The fires...those sucked. Everyone I knew was ok though, so that was good.

5. I didn't go to any Halloween parties, but did go out and dressed up as a soccer hooligan, not nearly as successful as my Verizon guy outfit of a year ago.

6. I thought I had a job in LA locked up, but then I never heard back from them, very weird situation.

7. My sister's cat, Ted, has taken up the annoying habit of crying to me and following me when I go downstairs.

8. Joe Biden has showed me even more why we need him to be the next President of the United States.

9. I started re-watching The Wire in anticipation of Season 4 being released to DVD next month, and Season 5 starting in January.

10. Curb Your Enthusiasm has grown increasingly harder to watch, yet remains a show that cannot be missed.

11. I'm scared to death of the 16th.
