Offices are located in Rochester, N.H., Albany, N.Y. and St. Rivalain, France. Lydall is a premier designer and manufacturer of specialty engineered products for demanding thermal/acoustical and filtration separation markets. We are market driven, customer focused, and specialize in unique custom solutions. This part-time position will have flexible work hours (approx. 20-25 hours per week working primarily from home). Some travel to all three locations plus the corporate office in Manchester Ct. will be required at times./p pIn this position you will work with attorneys, engineers and senior level managers to understand our unique processes and technical capabilities. The key focus of this position will be the protection of innovative ideas and technologies. This position will report to the VP of Ramp;D and VP General Counsel./p pstrongResponsibilities/strong:br ? Drafting Invention Disclosuresbr ? Creation of trade secret protection policiesbr ? Coordinating patent preparationbr ? Assisting in patentability, non infringement and invalidating opinions/p pstrongRequirements/strong:brQualified candidates should be a senior level associate with seven plus years experience in patent law along with membership in Patent bar as a requirement. In house experience preferred; two years of successful proven patent search experience is required along with the ability to manage outside counsel relationships.
