: Chuck NewtonThe Law Schools That Give Away The Most Money
By Chuck Newton
First, let me say I love the traditional glossy magazine layout of The National Jurist online. You need to read it, especially if you want to go to law school or you are currently in law school or might be looking for an LL.M. program to attend upon graduation.
Second, the magazine has come out with its annual survey of those law schools that give students the most in FREE money toward tuition, fees and books. By free money I mean grants and scholarships, and not loans or work study, or other strange variations. We are talking about reductions in the costs of your education. This is so vitally important.
Below is the list of the top 25 law schools in terms of grants and scholarships per tuition. These lists are important, especially if you have a GPA or LSAT that might buy you into a number of law schools because getting accepted to law school and paying for law school are two different things.
