Today it was cold and rainy in Boston. So I hear, anyway. Becca and I are in Long Beach. I got off  the plane and it was 85 degrees!

The first month of my job has been quite an education, and I've now got five cases, a court date in each of the next four months, and plenty of trainings and jail visits, with more of everything to come. This will be a nice warm vacation before facing down the Boston fall and winter and a very, very large pile of documents. Much appreciated.
