Aboriginal Population, City Living, and Home

By jarvis666

ADVERTISEMENTS
The Aboriginal population is on the rise, especially for the younger ones.

I am not too surprised that the Aboriginal population has decreased from on-reserve and increasing off-reserve either, given that young people may want to try living in a city for once as opposed to a reserve. Personally, I?ve had several friends over the years (most being younger than I am) who have tried living in Halifax for a while, and there continues to be a trend back home (as well as other reserves) of people who want to give city living a shot.

Tonight I am going to try and work at home. I did so one day last week and got quite a bit done. Plus the effort of setting up and packing at school might save me some time as well. But I guess I just want to change the scenery a bit. I?ve been too loyal to the law library these past years, although that?s not to say that I won?t stop going there. It?s just nice to be home for once.
