The Edward J. Schwartz Federal Courthouse was bombed early in the morning on May 4 and the FedEx building was bombed early in the morning on April 25. No one was injured by the three pipe bombs.

Eric Robinson, who faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison, plead not-guilty to the bombing on Aug. 6, but changed his plea yesterday. The other two people accused of the bombing, Rachelle Carlock and Ella Sanders are being held without bail and plead not guilty on Aug. 20. (here)

Robinson alleges that he drove Carlock to San Diego with the three pipe bombs and drove her back after after she placed them in front of the federal courthouse, the Union-Tribune reported. He also claims that he didn't buy the materials or build the explosives and hopes that will benefit him in his sentencing on Jan. 9.
