ADVERTISEMENTS

Two of the three people accused of bombing of a federal courthouse and a FedEx building in San Diego  plead not guilty yesterday, the San Diego Union-Tribune reported. (here)

Rachelle Carlock and Ella Sanders are being held without bail, as is Eric Robinson, the other person accused of the bombings. Robinson plead not guilty on Aug. 6.

The Edward J. Schwartz Federal Courthouse was bombed early in the morning on May 4 and the FedEx building was bombed early in the morning on April 25. No one was injured.

A grand jury returned a 17-count indictment against the three. They could face mandatory life sentences if convicted of using or conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction, the Associated Press reported (here). They're also charged with conspiracy to commit malicious damage and possession of a destructive device.
