Second Lawsuit Filed in ?Angel of Death? Case

A second wrongful-death lawsuit has been filed against the former owners of a Woodstock, Illinois nursing home. Two former nurses are at the center of a police investigation into suspicious deaths in the home. The mother of a 52 year old resident who wrongfully died at the nursing home filed a suit that her son was given lethal doses of morphine. Named as defendants are WRHC & RC Inc, two former nurses, a former administrator, the patient?s doctor and a nurse practitioner. The two nurses were indicted in April on criminal neglect and other charges. This suit comes after a Levin & Perconti filed a nursing home negligence lawsuit on behalf of a second victim who also wrongfully died. To read the full story, click here.
