Bill Clinton Plays the Race Card

Until yesterday, there was a defensible argument that the Clintons had not played the race card. I posted here about one instance where I thought the Clintons were emphatically not playing the race card.

But check out this video.

Wow. Bill Clinton needed to respond to some question with a Jesse Jackson line. He needed to marginalize Obama as the black candidate. He needed to split the vote along racial lines so Obama's win was actually a loss.

And he fumbled it. In a really transparent and obvious way.
