The End is in Sight

ADVERTISEMENTS
3L begins on Wednesday. Although I have been warned with cautious tales of the third year apathy which will no doubt set in shortly, I can honestly say I'm looking forward to starting school. More so than last year.

Last year I didn't have much motivation to attend various Orientation social events or really get excited about seeing the people in law school or meeting the new First Years. Second Year was hell (fun hell - but hell nonetheless) and prior to starting, I knew that it'd be a lot of work and was not able to get as excited about starting law school as the new first years. I found it hard to relate and didn't want to dampen their spirits.

This year is different. I have a kick ass schedule. 1st semester is 4 classes and 3 exams and then second semester I work at Dal's Legal Aid Clinic and take my paper course. This year will still be a lot of work, but it'll be nice having all my exams (only 3) over with at Christmas and only taking one course during the last semester.

The important question remains however, will I have any money left by the time the year is over?
