Fair Copyright for Canada Toronto Chapter Strategy Building Session With Michael Geist

The Toronto chapter of the Facebook Fair Copyright for Canada group has announced an evening with Michael Geist on July 24 at the Edward Day Gallery:

The Toronto Chapter of the Fair Copyright for Canada movement will be hosting an informational and strategy building session with keynote speaker Michael Geist at the Edward Day Gallery on July 24, 2008 at 7pm.

In addition, you will also have the opportunity to view the Appropos art exhibition. This exhibition is based on the work of artists whose use of incorporating borrowed elements from popular culture for the purpose of creating new work, stands to be outlawed by Bill C-61.

Please RSVP on the group, and please pass word of this important event. Kudos to chapter co-admins Jason Crocker and Mike Craigen for doing the legwork on this.
