: IBLS Internet Law BlogAre there consumer protection laws for online agreements?
By IBLS Editor
I recently signed June 1 an online faxed agreement with a company for creating online event services. On June 3rd I realized this was incompatible with my business goals and declined training. I took one class that could not access me by voice through phone and online training. I informed and declined use and purchase of their service on June 3rd and alerted my bank not to pay them through my bank credit card. I checked my CC and it was not yet charged. I told my bank the story and they said they would dispute the charge. Do I have consumer protection? Please advise,
Thank you, James
