Every Have One of Those Days...

. . . where everything just seems to fall into place perfectly?

Today is it. Hopefully that doesn't mean I have completely disjointed and chaotic days for the rest of the week! But here's what happened:

1. I got a callback interview for NewYorkJob for Friday morning. I'm extremely excited. Apparently, this means that I'll be interviewing with about four different people, which is a bit nerve-wracking, but I am still hopeful that I can pull it off.

2. It just so happens that I was driving to New York on Thursday anyways to pick up J at JFK Airport which we picked because it apparently is the only point of entry where new immigrants with his visa can get immediate work authorization. We were planning on heading straight to Boston from there, but the interview of course necessitated staying overnight.

3. Through a combination of Hotwire, Priceline, and Google, I managed to snag a four-star hotel room for just $92 in Jersey City. Beautiful room, indoor swimming pool, and the PATH is right outside the hotel, and it'll take 10 minutes to get to my interview on Friday morning.

Now only if we a) have no problems with immigration and flights; b) the interview goes swimmingly, and c) I'm able to get back to Boston in time for my best friend's bachelorette party, it will be like magic!
