We're not sure whether this represents the jihadi's probing of the company's vulnerabilities or some 12th-grader with a cell phone and insufficent adult supervision. Either way, it doesn't sound good. From today's online edition of The Daily Times ("A New Voice for a New Pakistan"):

Hoax played on US-based oil company

ISLAMABAD: A US-based oil exploration company located in Industrial Area on Saturday received a hoax call that a bomb had been placed on the company premises.

A police official said that the management of Schlumberger Company filed a complaint with the police station complaining that an unidentified caller had told them that a bomb had been placed on the company premises that could go off at any time.

He said a bomb disposal squad combed the company premises but did not find any bomb.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Farhat Kazmi said that police were looking for the unidentified caller. He said the company had also received such hoax calls in the past. staff report
