: Bodily Injury BlogBox Fans Recalled Due to Fire Hazard

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of 4.8 million Lasko box fans due to a potential fire hazard associated with the product. The agency reported that an “electrical failure” in the motor could cause a fire. Lasko has received seven reports of fires associated with motor failures, including two house fires and one barn fire, resulting in extensive property damage, but no injuries. |
