Here is news release announcing the short list to fill the district court vacancy created by Stephen Six becoming attorney general a month ago: Pro Tem Judge Peggy Carr Kittel; Topeka attorney Justice King; and legal counsel for the Board of Tax Appeals, Trevor Wolhford. The governor has 60 days to make her appointment, so if you have input, be sure to let her know as soon as possible.
