Why Do I Have To Be The One To Help Give Cancer The Big F*CK You!

ADVERTISEMENTS
***NON-INVESTIGATION RELATED...IF YOU GIVE A RATS ASS***

My first post in over a month and I'm going to start it by sounding like a big, moronic ass.
Well, at least selfish but believe me, I have my reasons.
I think this time of the year really brings it out in me. I DO donate what little I can to causes I have an a deep interest in. I am very selective with who I send money too because quite honestly, I'm not Mr. Moneybags with cash just falling out of my pockets. I have to be picky with my hard earned money.
Thats why this time of the year really sucks. Yup, it's that time of the year when I start getting 8 billion packages with pre-printed address labels. Some are just geared around Christmas, but some of the labels have little designs that are perfect for use year round!
Unfortunately I can't use any of them because along with the cards is a little letter that asks for a donation. I have my principles...I have to toss the label booklets away because I'd be guilty with every stupid label I attached to my new custom Christmas cards.
Also, Its hard to impress the supermarket checkout girl when I'm about to pay when she asks me if I want to help fight cancer with a donation for cancer research (Yes, this is the same girl from last year) and yes, I always give a dollar or two because I don't want her to think I'm COMPLETELY heartless.
Why do I have to be the one to help give cancer the big f*ck you!
Hmmm, you know? I guess maybe I am...selfish that is.
I've been for a while, but I'm back. I won't make any excuses, I've just been busy and the holidays always get me a bit depressed. The last few years around the holidays have become anniversaries for the deaths of loved ones and lately I've been thinking about becoming a monk.
Its a long story that belongs somewhere else. For anyone that cares I'm still here and I'm still breathing. More later...
