ADVERTISEMENTS

The U.S. Supreme Court will decide if the state of California can be targeted in a lawsuit for cutting fees to doctors and hospitals that treat poor people. Previous and current state governor’s offices have tried to lower Medi-Cal payments and in-home care workers’ wages by hundreds of millions of dollars but have been blocked by federal courts.
