Qualcomm
announced that it is in "advanced" talks to settle its long-running patent war
with Broadcom. Both sides have taken hits and scored wins, but Broadcom has
chalked up a better score to date. Qualcomm postponed it Q2 earnings
announcement until next Monday. Sounds like it needs some good news to cover
some bad news.
