ICAP February Presentation with Arthur Cunningham, Esq.

This one-hour program discusses the deposition process, and effective strategies for
preparing witnesses to be deposed. Topics will include how to effectively communicate with
a potential witness in order that the witness understand what a deposition is (and isn’t);
techniques for reducing the stress witnesses experience in the deposition setting; and the
elusive search for what is, and is not, truthful testimony.

Arthur K. Cunningham is a partner with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, has
more than 20 years of experience litigating complex matters in State and Federal courts and
courts of appeal, is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, and specializes in
civil litigation with a particular emphasis in the defense of civil rights actions.

This activity has been approved for minimum continuing legal education by the
State Bar of California in the amount of 1 hour of participatory general credit.
ICAP is a State Bar of California Approved MCLE Provider, #11452.
