Know A Great Court Manager?

Washington State Courts are looking for their best and brightest court administrators. We've worked with many and they are the cream of the crop!

The Court Management Council (CMC) is pleased to announce that it is now seeking nominations for the 2008 Court Manager of the Year Award.

The Court Manager of the Year Award was established in 1987 to honor outstanding court managers who exemplify the leadership and ideals of their chosen profession. The CMC presents the Award each year to an individual whose leadership has been transformative on a regional or statewide basis and who has mobilized and unified people to take action for the greater good. Award recipients have been people who, apart from their noteworthy personal accomplishments, have raised the capacity of others to improve the administration of justice. Their leadership has had regional or statewide impact. Nominators may include supplemental information including biographical information, news stories, brief writings, reports, letters of support, etc., if they believe this information will be useful to the Council.

The 2008 award will be presented during the joint meeting of the Board for Judicial Administration (BJA) and the CMC which is scheduled for Friday, December 12, 2008 at SeaTac, WA.

Nomination forms for the 2008 award must arrive at the AOC by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2008.
