WHY Won't BBB Atlanta Look At Fairfield Funding Complaint???

By John Darer

ADVERTISEMENTS

The BBB Code of Business Practices represents sound advertising, selling and customer service practices that enhance customer trust and confidence in business. The Code is built on the BBB Standards for Trust, eight principles that summarize important elements of creating and maintaining trust in business

Despite the above representation the BBB of Atlanta will not look at the complaint against Fairfield Funding. See below.

"Complaint ID#: 27111233
Business Name: Fairfield Funding

Thank you for contacting your BBB regarding your complaint.

The complaint was received by your BBB on August 24, 2009 and has been assigned case# 27111233 in our files.

We regret to inform you that your BBB cannot process your complaint. The case has been reviewed by one of our Complaint Specialists and was found to contain issues that are out of your BBB's purview.

It is our policy to process only those complaints that fall into your BBB's scope. Items such as landlord/tenant issues, criminal allegations, requests for punitive damages, employer/employee disputes, cases already involved in litigation, civil right violations, business to business collection issues, etc. are not handled by your BBB.

Thank-you for contacting your BBB.

Sincerely,

Barbara Ward
Dispute Resolution Counselor"

It's a pity that an organization such as the Better Business Bureau holds out advertising standards for accreditation and then permits a company to flaunt an A- rating that has so clearly used other companies' identities to steer business. In my opinion, the BBB inaction diminishes the value of its ratings and those businesses who pay to be members, the joke in this case being that the BBB rating of Fairfield Funding is for "online reliability".

For Background

Fairfield Funding Slime Ball Move Against Ringler, EPS, Millennium, Settlement Professionals August 23,2009

Before the Fairfield Funding decision makers start hooting, hollering and back slapping each other they should be aware that the principals of the companies who have been violated, have been informed.
